Before Breeze Could Kiss me

Image
It was a regular day. The sun was shining brightly, and the raindrops from the morning still rested on my mother’s leaves. Birds were singing sweet songs from the nearby tree, and the gentle wind was moving my mother, which made me sway from side to side as if I were dancing. I felt so happy. This is how I want to live forever, I thought. Mother always told me that one day I would become the most beautiful flower in the garden. She said that when that day comes, I would feel the breeze more deeply, and it would kiss my petals. I believed her. Life felt peaceful, and I was enjoying every moment of it. Then suddenly, a human came near us. He touched me with his big hand. I thought maybe he found me beautiful maybe I was finally the flower Mother talked about. I used to love humans. One kind human would come every day and pour water on us. That cool touch of water was the best feeling I had ever known. But this human felt different. He pulled me hard, and with a loud twack, I was torn fro...

The Goodbye We Never Said

Image
Angrily, I threw my phone onto the bed. “This girl…” I muttered to myself. Bzzz Bzzz my phone vibrated again. I glanced at the screen. It was a long paragraph, full of complaints about how immature I was, how I never listened to her. Back then, I brushed it off, but now when I think about those days… maybe she was right. Maybe I was the problem. It was the weekend. We hadn’t seen each other in a while, and I thought maybe that’s why we were arguing so much. So I decided to meet her, to stop the fight. I texted her, “There’s no point being angry with me, darling. Is there?” Surprisingly, that one message changed everything. She calmed down. She started replying to me like she used to. I sent her a reel she reacted to it. I felt so relieved, like the sky clearing after a storm. I asked her to meet me at the café we used to go to all the time. She agreed. When the time came, I texted, “Okay, I’m leaving home. Be there on time.” She replied, “Okay.” I reached the café and waited. She wa...

Typical Highschool

Image
The warm sunshine that was streaming through the class room window was doing nothing to help my concentration as i sat in class trying to pay attention. The teacher's voice droning on about some dead men who fought wars hundred of years ago was slowly putting me to sleep. I wish i knew why someone thought that we should needed to learn about those dead people. "May i come in?" soft voice came from classroom door. Sculpted figure which was twine thin. Her waist was tapered and she had a burnished arched eyebrows with lens looked down on sweeping eyelashed. It could jolt you like an electric current if that megawatt smile give you full attention. I wanted to feel that ! Her voice was sweet as any songbird. I was just looking at her. "Hey you...standup!!" Teacher asked me. in loud voice. I tried to seem casual as i glanced up. My heart jumped and then i realized that teacher was looking at the person to my left. "You will be her new bench partner" Teac...

DEATH

Image
The early riser chirping, morning sun beams Peeking through the clouds. Birds about their morning rituals and a gentle breeze. The sparrow was sitting near by windowpane singing the song closer to my heart reminding me how beautiful life is. As the day advanced the rush increased. I woke up from my bed. "knock knock" sound came from my bedroom's door... She entered. "Good morning" she said with the delightful greetings. "Good morning" i replied."Get ready for the breakfast " she said and left the room. Instantly the cold breeze entered inside the room, full of magic filled with the promise of a new beginning. I was staring at the window. Suddenly a shadow crossed infront of my closed eyes blocking out morning sunlight warming my eyelids with soft red glow. A gentle wind caressed my cheek, exhale from the lips of her. "Breakfast is ready" she wishpired. There was a joy in how she did it as if for a moment she was happily absorbed b...

Beat Down

I quickened my pace as the clouds began to gather in the sky. Droplets of water started to fall from the sky. I quickly ran towards the depot which was right infront of me. The roof of buses danced with spray and i could hear the murmuring of the rain. Sounded like the buzzing of angry bees. I was looking towards the road. Their was continuous inflow and outflow of vehicles. After a moments rain stoped . Blotting old gold colour of sun started to shine. Droplets of moisture began to drip from the grass leaf. Suddenly my phone rang."hello" i said. "Where are you?" She asked. The voice soothed my ear. That voice can give life to dead. "I am at the depot" i answered.                   "Look behind you"she said. She was standing their smiling shyly with the delightful greetings. I immediately went towards her and huged her tightly. "Uff finally" i whispered in her ear. That smell infused timeless fragrance of blossoms. She was li...

Rainbow

Image
The arc of color , sunshine through the falling rain. Bright against the sky light like a smile that warms the spirit. But everything is myths for me. I am color blind. I can see the colour but not as well as normal visioned person. When i look at rainbow , yellow stands out, purplis  blue a hint of red . Red tends to look orange to me. Green is not visible. Didn't know i was colourblind until i was 18 & only recently did i stop to recall how i drew rainbows as a child always using only red ,yellow & blue. I remember being skeptical when people spoke of seven colours & could make out more colours if i saw a rainbow shown on T.V . I just thought local rainbow were not standard one. However there are supposed to be special glasses available now that can help me to see color better. I have not tried them yet but i would like to...

The fresh breeze, a relief from howling winter winds. Since the clock have been turned back the days are so bright. As the day advanced, rush increased. I was standing on a bus stop. Checked my watch. "She is late" i pondered. There was continuous inflow and outflow of buses. Some of them were packed to capacity while others have few passengers. It was our first date. Suddenly someone huged me from behind. That smell, it was her. She smells like infused timeless fragrance of blossoms. I can feel her curves of softness. "Sorry for being late" she whispered in my ear. She was smiling shyly with that delightful greetings. Damn! She was beautiful. A slender waist , whistling down from her bust as smoothly as water from waterfall. I couldn't take my eyes over her. After few seconds bus arrived.
